Summary

Combined Coastal Wetlands LULC from all five Water Management Districts: Northwest Florida, (NWFWMD), Suwannee River (SRWMD), Southwest Florida (SWFWMD), South Florida (SFWMD), and St. Johns (SJRWMD) Water Management Districts. Data is for use in the Managed Areas where the data from individual districts overlaps during certain years. The combined dataset eliminates the duplication in habitat area (hectares) caused by the overlap. For use in the following Managed Areas: Indian River-Vero Beach to Ft. Pierce (ID22); Big Bend Seagrasses (ID5); Gasparilla Sound-Charlotte Harbor (ID18); and Cape Haze (ID9).

Method

Coastal Wetlands LandCover within each original dataset GIS_3030, GIS_4023, GIS_4024, GIS_5068 and GIS_5069 were merged into a single dataset. The GIS "Dissolve" function was used to combine overlapping polygons of a specific LULC into a single non-duplicated polygon for that LULC.
