Summary
The G-FISHER program conducts stereo-baited remote underwater video (S-BRUV) deployments and side scan sonar imagery of benthic habitats within the Gulf. Project staff process and analyze data from habitat mapping, S-BRUV surveys, and eDNA. Efforts are ongoing to develop protocols for incorporating data collected under G-FISHER into future assessments.
Parameters
Relative abundance, population estimates of reef fish, length frequencies, depth (m), temperature (deg. C), dissolved oxygen (ppm), salinity (ppt), turbidity (%)

There are working papers to support the SEDAR stock assessment process, but we do not have links to each of them. GFISHER has contributed to multiple Gulf stock assessment index working groups. Those indices feed into the assessment working group to inform management. Ultimately they would be here: https://sedarweb.org/
