Summary

Benthic condition, marine debris. They did two types of surveys: 1) ecosystem surveys (1999-2009) and 2) Acropora synoptic sampling data that was paid for by a State of FL grant with Kate Lunz (2006-2012).

Application

Provides a synoptic picture of the status of hard-bottom and coral reef benthic resources on the inner shelf margin and outer shelf of the Florida Keys, as well as a time series for selected habitats and a subset of the no-take zones designated as Sanctuary Preservation Areas, Ecological Reserves, and Research Only Areas.
